Lemongrass 30ml is a tall perennial plant from the Poaceae grass family which thrives in tropical and subtropical regions, like in India, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and China. This plant grows typically in dense clumps and describes as bright-green, sharp-edged leaves that are similar to Grass. There are over 50 varieties of Lemongrass worldwide, but not all are edible or suitable for utilizing as an Essential Oil.
However, there were two varieties of Lemongrass that is popularly used today, CymbopogonCitratus and CymbopogonFlexuosus.
In accordance with this Fact, Lemongrass can be used interchangeably. Oil is extracted from the Leaves of the Plant that has a thin consistency and a pale or bright yellow color. Also, it can be distinguished through its strong, fresh, lemony and very Earthy scent.
Benefits and its Uses:
Lemongrass has a pungent, herbaceous aroma that can heighten awareness and promote a positive outlook. It's purifying and toning to the skin and is frequently used in skincare products and very ideal to use in massage and with its strong Lemony scent, grassy undertones it is very effective in Aromatherapy.
In food and beverages, lemongrass is used as a flavoring while Promoting Healthy Digestion. For example, lemongrass leaves are commonly used as "lemon flavoring in herbal teas.
In manufacturing, lemongrass is used as a fragrance in soaps and cosmetics. Lemongrass is also used in making vitamin A and natural citral.
Cautions:
Lemongrass is LIKELY SAFE for most people when used in food amounts. It is POSSIBLY SAFE when taken by mouth or applied to the skin short-term for medicinal purposes. However, Pregnant and Nursing mothers are Likely Unsafe, because taking Lemongrass may cause menstrual flow that will lead to Miscarriage.
Also, you should avoid contact with Your Eyes, Inner Ears, and Keep out of reach for your children as well.
